KRU2, our adult performance group, is being relaunched this autumn as a full musical theatre company.  All people over 18 interested in taking part are invited to join.  The first meeting will be on Wednesday 27th October at St Ives Theatre and rehearsals will take place once a week on Wednesdays at 7.15pm until 10pm.  There may also be occasional weekend workshops with professional tutors nearer the time of shows.

The inaugural production for the new grouup will be Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's magnificent musical Evita, which will open at St Ives theatre at the end of July 2011.  Rarely available to amateurs, Kidz are thrilled that their patron Sir Tim Rice and the Really Useful Group have given permission for Kidz to stage this production.

Auditions will be held for principal roles and main chorus, but there will also be a supporting choir to accompany the production and perform the fantastic choral music of this spectacular show. 

We are also looking for people interested in supporting the production behind the scenes, in stage management, technical crew, props and costume making, so whatever your skills, please contact Kidz if you'd like to be a part of it.
