Kidz Klub

Kidz Klub is our Saturday morning class for youngsters aged 7—18.

A full morning of theatre activities, at the Klub you will learn stagecraft skills, singing and improvisation. At the end of each term you will be able to display your new skills to your parents in a special performance.

All participants will do one session of drama and one session of singing, plus a shorter session of creative development, including devised music and words, on a theme or story towards a finished performance piece.

Kidz Klub is led by two experienced theatre practitioners:

Lesley Hibbs is an experienced actor and director, who has worked with Kidz R Us for many years as a n assistant director on many productions and also directed last year's very successful panto "Robinson Crusoe & the Pirates".

Khoir Leader Katrina Geraghty is a fully qualified music teacher and has been involved in music education for the past 26 years, teaching across the age and ability range in schools in Inner London, Shropshire and Cornwall. She currently teaches music at St Ives School.

Each class runs for 3 hours on Saturday mornings from 9.30—12.30.

Kidz Khoir

If you enjoy singing, then as a member of Kidz Klub, you can become part of Kidz Khoir. The Khoir is designed to help children discover a love of singing. Exploring a wide range of musical styles, the Khoir aims to give children a broad and varied experience of the world of music whilst learning new skills and having fun. The Khoir meets on Saturday mornings during school term time, as part of Kidz Klub, but may also hold additional rehearsals where necessary, and will perform at local events and community venues.
