Last year, Kidz R Us brought to the stage the first two books by author Phil Moran and award winning illustrator Michael Foreman, delighting audiences and enthralling children. One audience member said “It was wonderful, a fantastic adaptation of the books. The actors were great and really in touch with their audience, especially the children. It was my son’s first ever theatre experience and it was perfect. He thoroughly loved it.” This month Soggy returns with two more fantastic adventures as he meets and befriends a Mermaid and helps a Sea Captain find a Golden Treasure. As well as great stories, these tales show how important friends are when you are lonely or in need, and that you may discover the greatest treasure is just around the corner. Ideal for 3 to 6 years, Soggy creates wonderful storytelling with songs, puppets and live actors, all set in the bustling and picturesque town of St Ives, the home of author Phil Moran. It is performed by young adults all of whom are current or former members of Kidz R Us. The Further Adventures of Soggy the Bear will be previewed on Friday 19 February at 11am at St Ives Theatre. To be part of the very first audience for this new production, contact Kidz R Us on 01736 797007 or mail info@kidzrus.net. END |
