Based on the 1992 Disney Film and adapted for Broadway by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. Many of the classic scenes and songs from the movie are re-created on stage and some of the action even spills out into the aisles, like Prince Ali's jubilant arrival in Agrabah on elephant back. Flying carpets, magic lamps, wise-cracking genies, princesses, and evil wizards - are all a part of this musical production.
