1 Day Audition Workshop

Are you aged 7-18 and a budding star who’s always singing and dancing?
Or do you have a natural performer in your family? Then come along to our 1 Day Audition Workshop for the chance to join Kidz R Us and to take part in our fabulous productions – and make loads of talented new friends!

The day includes sessions on acting, singing and dancing as well as theatre games and improvisation. They are all designed to help participants shine and show off their talents.

There will be an individual singing session – participants are welcome to bring along a backing track on CD to perform a song of their choice, but this is not compulsory as we can provide music for you.

Parents/guardians are required to stay for the first hour for a welcome introduction by our director and the chance to ask questions.

The audition workshop is FREE of charge – we just want you to bring your talent and enthusiasm.

Participants will need to tie back long hair and wear clothing and footwear suitable for lots of moving around. They should also bring a packed lunch.

To join the day, complete the form below or online at our website www.kidzrus.net.
Or you can phone us on 01736 797007 or call in to the box office.

  • The energy is super-charged and top-notch production values mean that yet again, these youngsters put other professional productions in the shade, with every cast member giving it their all – and a live (yes, live!) band makes this an incredible evening’s entertainment and great value for money. It was clear that everyone performing and watching loved every minute, and we couldn’t wait to join the well-deserved standing ovation.

  • I brought my daughter to see Disney’s The Little Mermaid last week, first time I’d been to a Kidz R Us show and I absolutely loved it! (As did she of course!) We were completely spellbound the whole show and she is still talking about it a week later (she’s three so that’s no small compliment!). The children in the show were fabulous, such confidence and stage presence! A massive, massive well done and thank you for a wonderful show.

  • My son and I have just seen tonight’s performance of Grease and we both loved it – we couldn’t help but sing along. As we left and walked up the road, we listened to what others were saying about the show, and everyone was saying: ‘fantastic’, ‘best show so far’, ‘the singing was amazing’, ‘very talented youngsters’.
