RAPUNZEL - An Entangled Tale
Join us this Christmas for the premiere of Alan P. Frayn’s brand new pantomime, Rapunzel!
Packed with laugh out loud comedy, colourful characters, magical surprises and plenty of audience participation, this fresh take on the classic fairy tale follows the story from the very beginning as baby Princess Rapunzel is stolen by the wicked Devilla and hidden away in a towering prison.
Eighteen years later, with Rapunzel longing to discover the world beyond her tower, an adventurous prince, a lovable dame, two hopeless thieves and a sprinkle of fairy magic set the stage for a spectacular family adventure. Will true love triumph? Can good defeat evil? And just how much trouble can a royal hairdresser cause?
Filled with songs, jokes, magic and festive fun, Rapunzel is the perfect Christmas treat for the whole family. Don’t miss your chance to be among the very first audiences anywhere to see this exciting new pantomime brought to life at St Ives Theatre!

Extremely professional and entertaining show. Probably one of the best shows I’ve seen in Cornwall. Very well cast, the boy playing Elf was outstanding and all the cast should be highly commended. Costumes and scenery were first class. Highly recommend to everyone.
